Three services

WooCommerce store migration, a full WordPress site move, or just the domain.

Every migration starts by checking both servers and runs in short steps, with progress saved after each one. If anything is interrupted, it resumes exactly where it left off.

WooCommerce

Between two existing stores, through the WooCommerce API. Nothing to install on either site.

  • Products, variations, categories, tags, attributes
  • Orders, with notes and refunds
  • Customers, with billing and shipping addresses
  • Coupons, reviews, taxes, shipping zones
  • Store settings and payment methods
  • Images in descriptions, with links rewritten

Done for you: €139up to 2,000 products, 5,000 orders and 5,000 customers; above that, the price is negotiable

Full WordPress site

  • All files, identical bit for bit
  • The database, table by table

  • Caches cleared at the end
  • Works before you switch DNS, too

Done for you: €79up to 10 GB of files and a 1 GB database, one site; above that, the price is negotiable

Search & Replace

  • Dry run, with before and after examples
  • Automatic backup of every changed row
  • Full undo, any time, from the history
  • Serialized data and escaped JSON handled correctly
  • Tables without a primary key are skipped

How the access code works

  • One migrationThe code is for the type of migration you bought: WooCommerce store, full WordPress site or Search & Replace.
  • Up to 7 daysThe days count from your first login, not from the purchase, so you have time to check everything calmly.
  • Closes when doneOnce the migration is finished, the code can no longer be used. For another migration, you buy a new session.
  • Only your projectThe code opens only your project. Site access details are stored encrypted.

How a full site move works

Moving a WordPress site in five stages, each one verified.

  1. CheckPHP and WordPress versions, free space and database access on both servers.
  2. InventoryThe complete list of files, without caches, logs and old backups.
  3. FilesTransferred in 8 MB segments, each verified with CRC32. Resumes from the last segment.
  4. DatabaseTable by table, with the domain replaced on the fly and serialized data repaired.
  5. FinishThe new configuration, caches cleared and a check that the new site responds.
WooCommerce stores

The pitfalls of a WooCommerce migration, handled automatically.

A store is more than a list of products. WooCommerce reacts to every order that is created, and a careless migration shows up straight away for your customers.

Emails

Customers receive nothing

The new store’s emails are paused during the migration and switched back on at the end, following the old store’s settings. Nobody gets an “order completed” email for an order from two years ago.

Stock

Stock stays exact

WooCommerce reduces stock for every order it creates. After the orders, stock levels are copied once more from the old store.

Coupons

Expired coupons don’t block orders

An order with an expired coupon can’t be created the normal way. The discount is added as a separate line with an explanatory note, and the total stays the same.

Numbers

Order numbers are kept

The original number is saved in the field used by order-numbering plugins and in a note on the order, so invoices still match.

Totals

Every order is compared

The total of every new order is compared with the one on the old store. Any difference shows up in the log.

Customers

Administrator accounts stay put

Only customers are moved. Each one sets a password through “Lost your password?”, because passwords can’t be read through the API.

Security

Your data travels straight between servers.

A single file, the “bridge”, is uploaded temporarily to each server. It answers nothing except signed requests for your migration.

  • Every request is cryptographically signed. Any unsigned access gets “page not found”.
  • The bridge expires on its own after 72 hours and deletes itself at the end.
  • The bridge on the old server can only read. It can’t write anything there.
  • Passwords and API keys are stored encrypted. Access to the application requires a password and a Google Authenticator code.
File segment8 MB, verified with CRC32
Interruptionresumes from the last segment received
Server memoryaround 2 MB, however large the files are

The full-site migration is tested on copies with accented file names, 20 MB files, serialized data, objects and binary BLOBs.

What a WooCommerce migration doesn’t move automatically

We tell you up front what is left to do by hand, so there are no surprises:

  • SEO settings from Yoast or Rank Math;
  • recommended products (upsells and cross-sells) and grouped products;
  • the files of downloadable products;
  • customer passwords (only the full-site migration keeps them).
Frequently asked questions

What people want to know before a WordPress migration.

How much does a WordPress site migration cost?

If you do it yourself with our application: €39 for a full site, €69 for a WooCommerce store and €19 for Search & Replace. If we do it for you: €79 for a site up to 10 GB, €139 for a store with up to 2,000 products and €39 for Search & Replace. Above these limits, the price is negotiable.

Is my site offline during the migration?

No. Your old site stays online the whole time. The new site is prepared in parallel, and you can check it before you switch DNS.

How long does moving a site take?

It depends on the size of the files and the database and on the speed of the two servers. The application shows the amount transferred, the speed and the estimated time left, in real time.

Will I lose orders or customer accounts?

No. Orders are copied with their notes, refunds and original numbers, and customers with their addresses. In a WooCommerce migration through the API, passwords can’t be read, so each customer sets a password through “Lost your password?”. When the full site is moved, passwords stay as they are.

What happens if the transfer is interrupted?

It resumes exactly where it left off. Files are sent in 8 MB segments, each one verified, and progress is saved after every 20-second step.

Do I need to install a plugin on my site?

No. For a WooCommerce store you only need API keys. For a full site and for Search & Replace you temporarily upload a single file, which deletes itself at the end.

Why does my host’s antivirus (for example Imunify360) flag the migration bridge as malware?

Because it’s a false positive. The bridge moves files and the database on the application’s command, so automated server scanners such as Imunify360 may classify it as a “backdoor” (for example with a code like SMW-SA-…-php.bkdr.drpr) and delete or empty it right after upload. The bridge only answers requests signed with your migration’s unique key, the one on the old server can only read, and the file expires after 72 hours (7 days for Search & Replace) and deletes itself at the end. If the antivirus touches it, the application tells you what happened: ask your host for a temporary exception for the file, upload it again, and don’t use “Clean up” on it during the migration.

How does the access code for a self-service migration work?

After payment, you receive by email an access code for one migration of the type you bought. You use it to log in at migrare.rdndata.ro/migrare/client.php. The code is valid for up to 7 days from your first login and can’t be used once the migration is finished. You only see your own project.

Can I move my site to a new domain?

Yes. The old domain is replaced everywhere in the database, including settings saved by themes and Elementor, without breaking the data.
